Kwally is still working to become a great mascot!
You’ve all been awesome in helping him by playing all the new games in Baller’s Hall!
It can be tough working towards a goal sometimes. It takes hard work and dedication, it’s always important to keep your eyes on the prize and never give up!
Do you have a story about working towards something and finally reaching your goal? Or maybe you’re working towards something now, like trying to make a basketball team at school or to score a soccer goal in a game?

One morning I was walking downstairs. I sat down to eat, but then my sister scared me. Then I saw a Robin outside. I ran to get my camera, but it was too late. So I got dressed but it started to snow. The radio said that there would be no school today. So I took my school clothes off. But I still had to brush my teeth. Then I was wondering why there was a school bus outside. Mom said get dressed again if there was a bus out there. But then it drove away. Then I noticed it said LOWELL PUBLIC SCHOOLS. That was the worse morning ever.
One Winter Morning By Luke Chambers
One Winter morning when I woke up we had no power. Then I saw it was only 3:37 AM. I woke up my sister and we went downstairs. I was freezing so I turned on the fireplace. I found a blanket and we sat down on it and read a book. I put the radio on and we sat down relaxed. Then I was hungry so I got fruit for us to share. It was hard to read so I got a lantern to put in the middle of us. Then I was tired so I brought down our pillows. Then I noticed the room was messy so I brought down a tent. We were relaxed until a loud song came on so I turned the knob down. Three hours later a big snowstorm hit us so I closed the shade. It got colder so I brought down another blanket to cover us. I got worried so I checked the weather and here’s what it said”you might not have power for a few months”. My sister started to cry when she herd that. So all I did was cuddle up with her. THE END!
